Mailchimp Newsletters
Throughout my time as Communications' Specialist, I was specifically in charge of researching, writing, designing, and distributing all official email newsletters. These newsletters went out on either a weekly or monthly basis, to varied audiences. For instance, an edition of ISSOnews for students went out on a weekly basis to over 14,000 international students throughout the school year; an edition of ISSOnews for scholars went out on a monthly basis to over 2,000 international faculty & research scholars; an edition of ISSOnews for departments went out on a monthly basis to over 200 department leaders & international liaisons across the university.
The topics of these newsletters ranged from department and governmental updates to deadlines and reminders to social media participation opportunities to internal and external event & programming promotion. We used Mailchimp to create and distribute all of our newsletters. My personal approach to these newsletters was centered around maximizing intrigue & engagement, and I tried to achieve this primarily through visual design along with clear & concise copy. 
In that vein, these newsletters also serve as a showcase for my graphic design skills, given that over 80% of the newsletter graphics I employed were made by me.
