Selfie frames
This was my first attempt at creating such a large print undertaking. Prior to this, most of my graphic design had been mainly for web, social media, or 8.5x11 event flyers. To go from that to being tasked to create something as massive and dimensionally-niche as not one but three selfie frames (with a 4 day turnaround no less) with designs general enough to allow them to be repurposed for any and every Columbia ISSO event was certainly a challenge. Luckily, I love a challenge.
These selfie frames were originally requested for Columbia International Students and Scholars Office's inaugural New International Student Welcome Gathering, which took place beginning of the Fall 2023 semester and was attended by over 2,500 international students. Since then, Columbia ISSO has used them for both student and faculty scholar events such as open houses, orientations, international spouse lunches, workshops, graduation receptions, and more.
Software used: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop.
