WELCOME SERIES (2022)
I led the end-to-end creation of a four-part video series designed to help incoming international students navigate their transition to Columbia University. Drawing on student feedback from focus groups and interviews, I crafted scripts that transformed complex institutional information into clear, approachable content.
I filmed, directed, edited, and voiced all four videos myself—using my own voice for the narration. I also recruited and coordinated a diverse group of 10+ student participants and filmed all the content over the course of just two workdays.
In addition to scripting and production, I developed the series' visual and editorial direction, combining live action, b-roll, and motion graphics to make the content more engaging and digestible. The videos were designed for multi-platform use, including email, social media, orientation sessions, and Canvas, ensuring accessibility across touchpoints.
This project allowed me to blend strategic messaging, student-centered UX, and full-stack media production to deliver a polished, evergreen resource that now helps thousands of international students feel more prepared and connected before they even arrive on campus.
